About Caitlin:

Caitlin is a provisional registered psychologist who has a master’s degree in School and Counselling Psychology. She comes to New Earth Therapy offering individual therapy and psychoeducational assessments to children, adolescents, and adults.

Caitlin employs flexible, holistic, and alternative approaches focusing on client-centred and solution-based theories, dialectical behaviour therapy, internal family systems, and cognitive behaviour therapy. She navigates different areas of mental health such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, body image issues, mood disorders, boundary setting, relationship issues, personality disorders, and unresolved trauma. No two individuals are exactly alike; therefore,

Caitlin will utilize counselling approaches that best suits the moment. Caitlin also offers psychoeducational assessments to test for a variety of intellectual and cognitive disabilities. Psychoeducational assessments are psychological reports that interpret and report intelligence and cognitive abilities, memory, achievement scores, and measures of behaviour. The final analysis of psychoeducational assessments is used to diagnose attention- deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, cognitive disabilities, language disabilities, and writing disabilities, as well as concurrent depressive or anxiety disorders.

During her days off, Caitlin can be found tending to her gardening, riding her bike, lifting weights at the gym, participating in yoga classes, and playing with her children.
