Amanda joined the New Earth Pediatric Department in May 2024. She has over 15 years of experience working with children from infant to age 18 years old. She has experience working in both hospital, school and private services settings. With these experiences, Amanda is comfortable working with children in the area of articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and early language learning. She has worked with children with a variety of disorders and delays such as, but not limited to, language delay, speech delay, Autism, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities, ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy. Amanda’s passion is to work with children to give them a voice, whether that is through verbal speech, Augmentative and Alternative Communication, sign language and so forth. She strongly believes that everyone deserves the right to be heard.

In her practice, Amanda uses everyday life and play to approach therapy with children. She believes that the connection between home and therapy is very important and adds to the success of the child’s growth. She uses developmental age-appropriate activities to create a fun and educational atmosphere where children are able to blossom.

Amanda is a mom of two young girls, Georgia and Elsie, and has been married to her partner, Rob, for 10 years. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family and their two dogs, Max and Millie. Amanda and her family love to be outdoors and in the summer, you will most likely find them at a beach somewhere in Saskatchewan.
